Prepare and install
Install on Windows or macOS, sign in, pair a console and grant storage access.
1. Install for your operating system
- Windows x64:Download the .msi installer, double-click it, complete the wizard and open Ludora from the Start menu.
- macOS Universal:Download and open the .dmg, drag Ludora into Applications and launch it from there. If macOS reports a source or permission issue, keep the complete message and confirm the package with support.
2. Sign in and bind your console
- Open the desktop client and sign in to your Ludora account. Both devices need network access; local file transfer also requires a reachable local network.
- Open the pairing screen in the console client and keep its code current. On the desktop, choose Devices → Add device → Pairing code, enter the displayed code and confirm.
- Return to the device list and verify the console identity. LAN discovery or entering an IP establishes a direct connection, not account binding. If pairing fails, refresh the code on the console.
3. Connect a game folder on the computer
- Open Resources, select the computer-based source and choose Pick a folder beside Game folder. Select the folder containing game files you are authorized to use.
- Verify the target console at the top of the page, then choose Turn on. Wait for library organization and share configuration, and review the games found and connection status.
- Refresh the library on the target console and confirm it can see and read the files. A successful check on the computer alone does not replace this console-side check. Use Refresh games after adding files and keep the computer awake during transfers.
For NAS or cloud storage, select the corresponding source under Resources before configuring it; do not enter a NAS address in the local-folder field. Cloud-only downloads do not require opening a local computer folder.
How to check that setup is ready
- Confirm the paired console is the one you intend to manage.
- Grant access only to folders you intend to share and check that the console can reach them.
- Keep the computer awake while it is serving local files.
If you get stuck, contact support with the platform, version and error message.
